Summer School Session 1

Modelling trade policies Theoretical and applied background – why BATMODEL?

The second session of the Summer School focused on trade policy modeling.
This session was led by Karine Latouche from INRAE, who based her presentation on “Which are the gaps addressed by BATModel?” Emanuele Ferrari, from JRC Seville, who based his speech on the presentation “Trade models for policy analysis in the European Commission” and Houssein Guimbard, from CEPII, who based his speech on “How to translate FTA legal agreements into scientific analysis”.
All these presentations, in addition to addressing the subject, always involved BATModel.
