Last February, the first PDO and PGI scientific symposium took place in Italy.

On February 22 of 2023, the “Italia Next DOP Symposium” was held in Rome, with the presence of UNIROMA3, partner entity of the BATModel Consortium, where Cristina Vaquero Pineiro made a brief presentation of the research activities of Work Package 6 of the project.

This was an important presence for the dynamization of BATModel in Europe and to the sector.
